Research interests:

Security and quality of service in hybrid (wireline and wireless) networks; virtual private networks; active networks; security video and image transfer with quality of service; high performance switching and routing; secure grid computing.

Deeply passionate about teaching "Dr. Srini" has the ability to make intricate and abstract concepts easily understandable. He breaks presents material in a gradual, step-by-step manner with examples, illustrations and practical demos. Srini's PCL approach — precision, continuity and logical principles — greatly assists students in applying concepts to real-life scenarios.

Dr. Srini is the winner of the 3M Teaching Award; Canada's most significant teaching award.
